Wentzel’s Heating and Air Conditioning is proud to give back to the community in which they live and work.
Recently, Wentzel’s attended and supported the local youth of Sarasota county at the annual Sarasota county fairgrounds. Local 4-H and Future Farmers of America (FFA) students learn the value of purchasing and raising animals as they prepare to show and market them at the county fair. The students in 4-H and FFA are taught the daily responsibilities of caring for the animals by feeding, grooming and training the animals to be “show” ready. They also learn how to keep records of daily expenses for items used on the project. Students track the progress of growth by keeping a record book that will be inspected and judged upon the completion of the animal project. Students can earn awards for the overall finished project of the animal, record books and for showmanship abilities.
Wentzel’s Heating and Air Conditioning looks forward, each year to partnering with this great organization to support our youth of tomorrow. This year, Wentzel’s supported five students at the Sarasota county fair. After students market their animals, they will invest their earnings for future education.
